Dear Harvest Guests,
In light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States and with cases being reported within many of our communities, we wanted to communicate with you how we are handling the situation in all of our restaurants. Since news began to break of the risk of the virus, we have been constantly monitoring the situation and having daily calls with our operators to ensure that our restaurants, our staff and our guests are protected to the highest of our ability. Harvest has always maintained a very high level of cleanliness, sanitation during daily operations and with nightly deep cleanings provided by a professional cleaning service. In addition to our already high standards of sanitation we have implemented additional hourly cleanings/sanitizing of all high guest traffic areas. Harvest has always used sanitation wipes for tables, chairs, and booths that kill viruses on contact, this procedure will continue with even greater frequency and attention to detail.
The health and safety of our employees and guests will remain our top priority as we navigate this time. As we continue to evaluate how the situation affects us all, our plans and procedures will evolve. Here are the current steps we are taking:
1) Following the advice of our local health departments and Center for Disease Control
2) Ensuring all employees stay home if they are feeling unwell
3) Adding additional deep cleaning and disinfecting sanitation cleanings to our already existing cleaning services that are occurring daily
4) Adding additional sanitation measures throughout the restaurant, bathrooms, and — including door handles, tables, chairs , light switches, counter tops and all other hard surfaces.
In addition to the steps we are taking to provide a healthy environment to enjoy your experience at Harvest we are also focused on supporting our guests nutritional health and immune system by providing healthy whole food nutrition. With health and nutrition always at the forefront of our mission, we pride ourselves in supporting the nutritional health of our guests with vitamin rich and nutritionally dense food sourced from high quality local farmers. The connection between health, immunity and nutrition is very important during this time and our culinary team will continue to create additions and menus that support the overall health and wellbeing of our guests. We will continue to prioritize our guests’ and employees’ health, and we will continue to keep our doors open to offer our communities a place for nourishment with healthy food options. We have also increased our ability to accommodate guests looking for delivery and take out options for guests that may not be able to dine in our restaurants.
